Passenger Terms and Conditions
1. OVERVIEW
Routz is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent transit and transportation operators ("Operators"). Routz acts solely as an intermediary and marketplace facilitator. Routz is not a transportation carrier.
2. AGENCY RELATIONSHIP
When you book a ride through the Routz platform, you are entering into a direct agreement with the transportation Operator. Routz does not provide the transportation services itself. Your legal agreement for the actual transit service is exclusively between you and the Operator.
3. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
All payments are processed through third-party services (Stripe). Routz does not store your credit card information. Cancellation policies, including refund eligibility and fees, are determined solely by the individual Operator. Please review the specific Operator’s policy at the time of booking.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Routz disclaims all liability for the performance or conduct of any Operator. Any disputes, claims, or damages arising from your ride experience—including, but not limited to, delays, safety, cleanliness, or operator conduct—must be resolved directly with the Operator. You agree to indemnify and hold Routz harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the transportation services.
5. DATA PRIVACY
We handle the minimum data necessary to facilitate your bookings. We do not store sensitive payment information on our servers. By using Routz, you acknowledge that we rely on third-party partners to maintain security and process payments.
6. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Routz platform, you acknowledge and agree that Routz is a facilitator, not a carrier, and you agree to these terms.
